Ya know....I have read plenty of posts on the ford factory disarm wire. The said "GREEN/ purple" I have never seen one. Is it REALLY there? I am getting ready to do an 07 FX-2, leather hot seats, sunroof....yada,yada,yada.... Just want to be semi-prepaired, and get some feedback. The truck has decent factory security, so Im using a start only. Astro 2106. Thanks Gentlemen. -------------

perhaps drk grn/purple?
if not, try keysense. there was a successful install on 04. search for f-150 disarm.

I usually find it in the drivers door boot. never easy in the kick panel, I think thats a myth...

According to the direct wire that truck does not have factory security. I did an 07 about a week ago pretty loaded truck and it did not have factory security it did have an led on the dash though, I think maybe that is the pats theft light.

I haven't worked on an '07 yet, but the '04-06 doesn't have factory alarm. Even the same-platform Lincoln Navigator doesn't.

07 is the same as the 06.

I have found that wire in the kick panel when the car does have factory security..

The new body F-150's, F-250's, F-350's, F-450's (04-07), and expedition/navigator (03-07) do not have any type of factory alarm aside from the chip in the key. Anything you run into is aftermarket or dealer added.

This truck has security. According to the dealer.....we'll see. I do know it has the keypad on the door and honks the horn on lock and unlock....maybe this is the DEALERS idea of security.  -------------

The one I did had the keypad on door honked the horn and all but still no alarm.

07 does not have security....done about 150 of em.....and can prove it....lol..........never seen 1 w/ fact security on it
