If it shows 12v all the time its probably negative trigger locks,

Hold your multimeter to the Lock/Unlock wires, it shows 12v constant, now press you lock/unlock buttons on the door and see if the 12v cuts out and when you let go of the switch it comes back.

If when the switch is pressed you dont read 12v its negative locks.

BMW / 3 SERIES / 1995

Power Lock      WHITE/ red        +       factory alarm plug

Power Unlock      blue/red        +       factory alarm plug

Notes: The alarm plug is a black 12 pin plug located just behind the glove box. It is mounted with the pins facing you atop a vent just to the left of the body computer. Other wires at the alarm plug are: 12V- RED / white; Accessory- PURPLE / white; Siren- BLACK/ blue; Ground- BROWN / orange. Do not use the power sources at the alarm plug to operate high-current devices. The other side of the siren wire is mounted in a 2 pin plug at the passenger rear corner of the engine compartment. The other wire in the plug is a brown ground wire.

Using a standard BOSCH RELAY for positive trigger door locks, it should be:

86-- (-) output from the RS module (lock or unlock)

85-- 12v constant fused

87-- 12v constant

87a-- not used

30-- 12v output to vehcile wires

you need 2 relays, one for lock, one for unlock

86 is your negative input from the remote starter

30 is your output to the vehicle wires

no. just the RED / green and RED / orange go +12v. the lock and unlock from the unit connect only to the lock and unlock in the vehicle. that's just showing that the switched also have a +12v input on them (so the can trigger the lock/unlock function when pressed)

wired it up like u said kelly, still nothing, I can get the car to lock/unloock if I my positive cable of my voltmeter to 12v constant and probe the nagative tip to lock wire ,car would then lock and unlock when I do it to the unlock wire and alarm has to be connected. I wonder what is the problem!!
