Autopage RS-600 I have a car GM Van where i cant get to the PCM. Now i read this particular Autopage has Tachometer Checking Type, Voltage Checking Type, and Timer Checking Type. Does this mean i dont necessarily have to hook up the tach wire? Also how do i hook up a 555LW, passlock II wires in a 2005 GMC Savana.?

You hook up the 555L according to the instructions it comes with. The van has Passlock II, not Passlock I, so be sure to follow the correct procedure.
Passlock R-code wire in the van is yellow, Passlock ground is tan. There are two yellows-----start van, leave it running......cut one of the yellows in half.....if the security light in the dash comes on, you have the correct wire.
Also, that van has an anti-overcrank feature, making it impossible to crank the starter too long.........I'd set the remote start for voltage sense, set the cranking time extra-long (like 1.5 seconds), and skip the tach wire.

Thanks man. I really do appreciate it. One more quick question and im sure it sounds stupid but just want to make sure: When i cut the right yellow wire, i should have three total wires (ie 1 yellow cut in half and the yellow on the 555l) that i solder back up correct?
