Super easy, but the XK03 wont do the transponder, it;ll arm/disarm/locks/trunk.. ya ned a pkuch to do the transponder. just hook the outputs from the alarm to the wires on the xk03 and a ground when running/12v/gnd and run the data wire... ithink the firmwarev is chdl2 for the xk03 also..

Radio Shack will have what you need. You may have to use more than one resistor to achieve the values you require. Check this page on how series and parallel circuits affect resistor values.

Parts express is a good source for electronic components. Some of their resistors can get a bit pricey, so it depends on what you're doing with them if you need to get the better quality ones.

Parts express resistors

Also, to match those resistor values without getting a resistor that matches the value exactly, you can combine them. In series, you can just add the values of resistors to get the total, for parallel, use this calculator.

Im understanding all of the installation except when it says use a jumper wire to start up the vehicles ignition without starting up the vehicle.....how exactly do i do this?

take a jumper wire and put one end on a positive source (battery)then put the other end on the ignition wire(cut away a small part of the insulation). It helps to have alligator clips on the end of the jumper wire.

is a jumper wire a special wire or just a wire the same gauge as the ignition wire?

hook up the remote start.  Now when you go to programn the interface use a decent thickness wire. Jump on your connector for the remote start the ignition and to the 12 volt power.
