We have a 05 cehvy colardo coming in for  us to try and figure out what happened. It had a remote start installed last week at another shop. after the remote start was complete the radio quit working as in it won't power up at all. I am assuming the other shop  has checked all fuses, and I am wondering if anyone has seen this or something similar on new gm's. I have not had this one yet. Any tips or directions to go.

And yes I will check all fuses with a meter first.

I know ya have to trigger the door pi [drivers] to shut the radio off after runtime, Mabey they reversed polarity on that part if they even did it... Or mabey they tapped the 12v off the column for power for something? That is rather an odd one....

I just finshed up with it, my sides are still hurting from laughing.... They had 2 problems 1st the domelight was not working, ok dome overide button was pushed. 2nd radio had no power hmmm? well apparently when they were installing they unplugged a plug in the kick area I plugged it in and slid the lock on. problem solved...from zero to hero just like that..
