Dealing with a 2006 Chevy Colorado. just bought, and looking around for a security system...Three questions, any bad feedback on the Viper 7900?
Second, want window control, etc., and since it's been about five years since I dealt with a GM for security, was wondering if there's any pointers and things to look out for?
Third, what modules will I need from DEI to get this working like I want. Only thing I remember is 555L for remote start, but heck, that's probably changed. Also looking at G/B sensor, and additional pinswitches, thinking euro style for the clean look.

04 Colorado owner here. One thing you need to get past is the passlock system. Audiovox has a unit to bypass it. The rest is basic stuff. Not sure what modules you need.
