If I use the 457g will i be able to do the trunk and door locks by the databus? Also I noticed that there are only 3-4 wires i need to hook up at the ignition switch. What to do with the other ignition wires from the RS? Terminate them?

I don't believe the 457G will work for your Cavalier my friend.....

457G will do the passlock only on your cav

We use DEI systems and I will usually remove the wire I dont need from the harness I you cant just tape them up.

what other wires you have on the remote start for the ignition harness? you'll connect: +12v, starter, ignition, accessory, 2nd accessory.
