I need the proper resistance values for the PURPLE / brown(2nd starter/Accessory) wire... I have tried multiple sites and read where some people said they used 560Acc/150start. While others said they used the Dodge Magnum/Charger values of 610/180..  One guy even said he used  a 300acc/100starter setup..... This is really begining to drive me nuts.... I've wired an rewired several times, have had several codes thrown back an forth thru the vehicles computer, and all kinds of dash lights coming on in the instrument cluster.<-(well not all these happening at the same time, but throughout the duration of my trial and error...)

What I would like, is if someone in this forum, ***Who has already SUCCESSFULLY installed an r/s on THIS vehicle*** could let me know the values to use for the grounded resistors, and the diagram that you used to make it work. Thanks in advance. All responses are greatly appreciated..

Also I forgot to mention, that I remember seeing somewhere that one guy on here said that he didn't even hook up the accessory wire.. He just hooked up the power starter, ignition and ground wires.... He didn't cut the acc (PURPLE / brown) wire or put a relay circuit in... he said he just didnt bother with it.... He just left it alone and every thing worked fine.... Is this even an option?? I'm still lost with this...

Any takers??

ACCESSORY Violet/brown Ignition switch harness   mux
This wire is both accessory and 2nd start. Ground through 560-ohm on accessory and through 150-ohm resistor during start. See the provided diagram for exact wiring details.
STARTER Pink/orange Ignition switch harness   +
STARTER 2 Violet/brown Ignition switch harness   mux
This wire is both accessory and 2nd start. Ground through 560-ohm on accessory and through 150-ohm resistor during start. See the provided diagram for exact wiring details.

I've done one recently & 560 ohms for accessory & 150 ohms for second starter worked perfect! Make sure you use 2 relays to isolate the 2 wires.

Ok.. That is convincing enough for me... That is what im gonna do... 560 acc and 150  starter#2 resistor values Dead on using 2 relays.... Thanks for all wo replied especially you Tbone.... I remember you from a previous post.... so i know you've deffinitely "been there, done that."..... Thanks again all.....

HELP AGAIN NEEDED!!!  Ok, I tried the setup which KarTuneMan had reccomended and I am still having a problem... My First question is, How far down the Acc wire do you cut and input the Relay's? Can you put it in right near the Ign Harness, or do you have to put it in further down..(For Ex. After a fuse box or something) The reason why I ask because, As soon as the vehicles acc wire (pur/brown)is cut, and a relay is put between the Ign Harness and where ever else the wire runs to, the airbag light comes on...  The Alarm-R/S Unit that I am using is the  Omega Max... and the first relay  that  I am using,  I have wired as this picture below...

Now also a coupple of questions with this relay setup.... On all of the diagrams on the web, that i've seen on how to wire up this relay, they show the remote start as having an Accy wire that sends a neg(-) output. The unit I have sends a(+) output, as shown in the diagram.. I have this wire connected to terminal 85. My question is do I have to connect a wire to terminal 86 for this to work?? If so, What wire do I connect there, and why?? I am so stuck... Please help me out here... I need some Pro's on this one... Thanks in advance to all who reply...
