I had major return issues using the 556U in the Saturn Relay. Everytime I thought I had the ring right and sent the owner out the door I would get a phone call within a day or two saying 'starting disabled' when using the remote start, got it back readjusted the ring, same deal.

This van is what opened my eyes to the Bypasskit.com stuff. When I did that van DEI only listed the 556U, key in a box bypass as an option. DEI now lists that the 1100F will do it, but you need a software change. Do yourself a favor, pickup a GMBP for that van.

I am sorry, I should have explained in better detail.

The GMBP is a bypass module for GM vehicles, it fits many different vehicles. It is listed on bypasskit.com and can be sold under many different brand names but they are all the same piece. If you do a search for GMBP bypass on google you will find several online retailers, and I think you can purchase it right from bypasskit.com.

twelvvoltz,

thanks,

after I replied, I went to bypasskit.com, and found what your talking about. States, GMpass key 3and passlock 2 override interface.

do you think this will fix this problem with this 2005 saturn van?Sounds like the same problem I'm having as you had with a saturn relay also.

thanks

Default is door locks activate on ignition On or ignition Off.
Cut the RED loop to disable ignition controlled door locks.

3 minute run time? Is it voltage sense or tach sense.]

You sure lock signals coming from 570? Disconnect temporarily and test to be sure.

Do they lock/unlock when you turn the key to ignition then off?

I think you're trying to say that the 570 runs then when it shuts down then it unlocks.
If that's the case and what you just posted, then the vehicle's BCM is unlocking the doors when it sees ignition off.
Either re-program the car so it doesn't do this or connect the RAP disable GREEN/ black wire of the 570 (also must cut GREEN/ black loop) to the lock wire in the car (ORANGE / black, driver's kick, negative trigger). Hopefully you aren't using it for FAD.

it unlocks as soon as the remote start engages,  i do currently have the GREEN/ black wired to  FAD, re programming of the car? would that be done at a dealership? the locking/unlocking is easier to deal with than the 3 min run time do you have any suggestions for that???Thanks for all the help

It seems like FAA is unlocking your doors.

Re-program: There might be info in the owner's manual how to remove ignition controlled door locks via the DIC (driver info center) - if customer is OK with it.

3 minute runtime? Haven't the foggiest since it isn't even a programming option. Try disconnecting/reconnecting the two fuses then reprogram TX's and TACH.
