Have a good customer that wants a 2-way remote start installed in her 07 Escalade. It has the factory remote start on it already and she hates it.. no range at all. Any of you guys do anything with putting aftermarket over the factory installed??

i haven't done one on the new escalade yet but the new HHR's and impala's with the factory remote start.  they are all pretty much the same as far as wiring goes. It didn't cause any problems with me, no engine lights or anything

Yes, did an Astro 2205a 2way in one, no probs at all... the factory GM starters are junk.. no range and no runtime.. done a couple of Lucerns with factory rs also.. Astro has some range extender for GM rs units, but I havn't used it yet.. If anyone has let me know how it works....

Astro makes a piece with Astro remotes and antenna, that activates the factory remote start but with better range. Check with them and see if it works on the Escalade.
