I have a weird situation that's going on right now. I have a 2002 Dodge Stratis with a commander 7000 pc installed for about 3 1/2 years. This is the first time doing this. It will not start with the key in the ignition and it will not remote start unless the key is in the ignition and you turn it back and forth until it activates. When it starts it's in remote start. You leave the key in the On position and step on the brake it should disable remote start and go to regular ignition but it turns off like the key is not in the ignition. ( maybe bad ignition switch) Never seen this happen before, it has no anti-theft security in the key or ignition. Like I said earlier had no problems for 3 1/2 years and now this. Can anyone give me some guidance on this. Thank you in advance.

This sounds like one of your supply fuses may have gone bad. Check the large gauge wires running out from the remote start to the vehicle's ignition harness.
