Hey I just wired up the compustar CM3000 into my 1997 civic dx 5 spd., When I hook CN1 into the brain the car is completly powered, and when I press the the clutch the car starts with no key in the ignition. when i plug in CN3 the siren goes off immediately. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what i did wrong.

i wired it as follows
CN1
P1:red to white in ignition
p2:GREEN / WHITE to spade in fuse box
p3:RED / white to white in ignition
p4:white to WHITE/ black in ignition
p5:violet to green in CN2
p6:yellow to BLACK/ white starter side
p7:green to black yellow in ignition
p8:black grounded to chasis
yellow from relay to black white key side
blue from 2nd relay to yellow in ignition

I have not wired in the clutch bypass yet. but would that really give the car constant power when i hook up cn1??

ok so i went over everything again i changed the starter output to the BLACK/ red for clutch bypass, but as soon as connect them the starter spins. I also checked my other connections blue as soon as it is connected it clicks a relay in the engine compartment. white immediately turns on the cd player and green immediately primes the fuel pump as though the key was in the on position. Any thoughts on this would be great.

Try this....do not hook anything else up to the CPU other than the CN1 harness and if the vehicle powers up, then you have a bad CPU. If so hopefully the place you bought it from will warranty this for you.

thank you, I tried connecting only cn1 and the car still powered up. Hopefully this guy honors his warranty. Thanks again.
