hi, I have just fitted a Uniden 2600 xr alarm in my 1996 Toyota Lucida (previa). The alarm is working fine but I'm not sure how to hook it up to the central locking because the central locking only works off the drivers door key and operating the locking rods inside the drivers door doesn't  operate the central locking, it has to be done with the key. In my other vehicles I have used another actuator in the drivers door and used a relay (sea169) designed for that particular alarm to operate the central locking but I don't know how to do that in this case because turning the key operates the lever which activates the central locking but you can't move the lever by hand. Hope I have explained this problem alright and look forward to getting some advise from anyone who has installed an alarm to these vehicles.

thanks mike

So ther is NOT a switch on the door to control the door locks? If not, yes, you will need a relay in the drivers door to move the (lock rods) this will control the locking system.
