I have 2w900fmr installed on my 2006 ford focus and i recently went on vacation for a month. When i returned i found that my remote doesn't recognize my car. I have tried to make sure the car isnt in valet mode by holding buttons I&III for 1/2 sec but all i here is a beep and no information is displayed on the screen. Also currently on my lcd i see turbo and passive and the shock sensor engaged which i didnt set but happened as a result of putting new batteries in the remote. The only things that seem to register on my lcd are vibration mode and i dont even see the unlock/lock signal for my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try relearning the remote to the brain. Cycle the ignition from on to off 5 times fast then depress button 1 on the way remote and the lock button on the companion remote. Also before this take the battery out of the remote for a few mintues to reset it. the time should drop to 12:00. And what does it say when you depress button 4?

as of now button 4 results in no response whatsoever. I am in alaska so the current time is 6:43 am and of course it is cold i will try what you noted above a little later and i will post my response after i have tried that, thanks

Try to keep the sub zero weather up there....thanx

i tried the instructions above and now the car alarm will automatically set after leaving it in reservation mode, but i cant control any other functions on the remote. Even upon pressing the 4 button will only result in a beep from the car but no correspondence on the screen. I dont see an unlock/lock button on the lcd either.

hmm? I haven't seen this one yet. You may want to pm Jeff @ Velocity Motorsports. He's had a lot more experience with compustar than myself, sorry I couldn't help.

Try relearning the small white remoet as well at the same time. Use the small remote and see if it works with the CPU. Post your results.
