I seen the directed website and seen the viper 7900.... I was like what, is the viper 7900 the same as the viper 5900? any differences??

5900- spread spectrum technology (sst) w/ 1mile range
7900- more of a redesigned 791xv w/ color display.

both have same features.

ok, kool.... so the 7900 is just the 791xv but redisgned and just 1/4 mile range...

correct, the 5900 still has better range
