I just installed a R/S in a 2005 Impala with only 1 hitch. The security light comes on after turning the ign key to on and strpping on the brake.I used 2 resistors to make 14k ohms and used a Bosch relay.I have the - out when running to pin 85 and the ign 1 to pin 86.The pin to the switch is 87a and the BCM side is pin 30.and the resistor is on pin 87.The other side of the resistor is to the black wire in the passlock harness.  Any help please!  Russ.

Get a PLJX from Bypasskits.com.. It is alot more reliable and  you do not have to cut the R code wire to install it. Just a thought....

your problem is simple, to do it properly you need to use 2 relays. I played around before with doing it a few different ways.

Your safest bet so you have a reliable start all the time get the PLJX it makes a huge difference

You can also do a permanant passlock II bypass without any relays. All you will need is a multimeter and to find the right resistor value. do a search for passlock bypass. Its just an option.....
