I have a 06 Expedition,a Bulldog 62I remote start/alarm with a Crime stopper RS-TATA IV universal transponder bypass. I have the key programed, it will start the car, I can start the car with the remote only if I have a key in or near the ignition. I've tried moving the loop around the ignition switch to different areas with no luck. The bulldog Remote start has a -(orange) wire coming off of it that says it is the starter immobilizer output. This is where I hooked up my negative for the bypass. Do I need to hook up a relay between the 2 units? The instructions show a diode relay diagram, I just didn't think I would need that since I was not cutting the ignition circuit.

Also, when I hit the brake, with nothing else on, the dash instrument lights come on, and a few seconds later the accessories come on, as soon as I let off the brake they go off. I assume I have a wire hooked up wrong, but I checked my connections and according to the instructions I have the right color hooked to the right leads in the car. Any ideas? This average Joe needs help from a pro

The orange wire is not for the bypass, it's for the starter kill relay. I just looked at the wiring diagram for that alarm and i don't see a statis wire at all.

Look at page 10, try the yellow 'security bypass' output.

Tried the yellow wire, same issue. I think I'll try making a bypass with a relay. I've read about that a couple of places on here. I'll see if that works. I still have an issue with the brake output. With truck off, when I hit the brake, the dash lights come on and a few seconds later the accessories come on just like the truck was trying to remote start plus I hear 3 clicks. When I'm driving the truck, after I let off the brake, then I hear 3 clicks. Anyone had this problem?

the Tata is pretty reliable as long as the ring is set correctly......as the guys stated above, u need to find a wire off of the remote start that provides a negative pulse to the module before remote start........the red wire of the bypass goes to 12v....and the black wire needs to go to the neg. off of the remote start.

This is the wire used to trigger your bypass....check your installation of the ring, or pellet, wich ever this one has.

You have the correct wire though.

I think I found my problem, I'm pretty sure I have the wrong Wire harness that hooks up to the remote start module. The module has 18 pins, harness only has 16, I wasn't worried about it at first because I don't have a  diesel and I wasn't going to use the siren, which were the two pins I didn't have wires to. Both connectors fit together fine, but the pin outs do not match the instruction book at all.  I hooked up the right color wire, problem is the wires are not in the right order.  I have an email into Bulldog (JBS) to see if they can send me a new harness. If not, I'll just change the pins and try again. I appreciate everyones help. I feel pretty stupid now that I realize what the problem was.

Well, since Bulldog did not respond to my email, I went ahead and switched the  wires around. Fixed all the problems I was having. Having the right harness would have made my life a whole lot easier and saved me a ton of time. Thanks to everyone that responded.
