2003 Montana remote start and bypass

I need help with the BCM wires in my 2003 Montana. My GM-SL2 bypass unit (by Fortin) needs to be connected to the data-wire at the ODB2 (which I have found) and at the BCM. I know where the BCM is, but the wire colours don't match the instructions from the GM-SL2. Instructions indicate a tan/white wire, but there is no such wire. I think that might be for the Montana SV6s. This unit is supposed to simplify installation somewhat - and if it works, I think it will.
One more question - do I need to do anything funky with the lock and unlock wiring? I don't have a factory alarm on this van (contrary to the salesman's pitch!) I just want to maintain integrity of the system, so it works like it does now.
I'll be using a Pro-Start unit for this vehicle, if anyone cares.

Use the wire at your OBD2 connector.

Thanks - the instructions seem to indicate that BOTH need to be hooked up - one at the OBD2 and one at the BCM. I'm gathering by reading other applications of the GM-SL that only the OBD2 needs to be hooked up? I'll give this a try...

door locks are right at the BCM.. RED / blk for lock and org/blk for unlock.. if no factory alarm is present then lt blue for lock and white for unlock...

Got it all installed - used the door-lock wires at a harness beside the parking brake. Worked well. The SL-2 was supposed to be able to control at least the parking lights through the OBD2 connection, but no such luck. It does however bypass the transponder key system like a charm! I ended up only hooking it up to the OBD and not hooking up at the BCM, maybe this is why it won't control the park lights. The only thing that works differently now is that the doors all unlock together with the first press of the unlock button, instead of driver's first, then 2nd press for the rest. I think I actually prefer it now.

On the parklight input of the GM-SL2 you need a negative going to the pink/black wire. Is This what you have???

Ok - I did try to hook up the parking lights through the GM-SL2, using the -ve output from the remote starter, but it didn't work. I forget the wire colours... I ended up just using the +ve output directly from the remote starter to a brown wire under the left side of the drivers footwell. Works fine.
