Who do you use???? Ive tried 2 diffrent ones, they seem to be garbage. I need a good reliable setup.

if u use the dei ones make sure u are using the latest revision. The original ones released have problems if u mount the sensors in metal bumbers.. If ur bumber is plastic, dont worry about it

Are you looking for the ones that drill into the bumper, or the ones that mount below/behind? I've installed the Rostra Park Pilot (drill in), Rostra Reverse Sensors (mount below), Echomaster (drill in), Audiovox (drill in), and some generic ebay type (drill in). Even know all the kits are similar, my favorite by far would be the Audiovox ones. Kits come in 3? different colors, have plenty of wire length for large pickup trucks, and 4 different angle sizes to work on most anything.
And just a general tip always try to get the sensors high up. We've had a few lazy installers mount them in the "easy" spot which ended up being too low to the ground and always falsing. Bumpers aren't cheap. As for the ones you installed, what didnt you like about them that you consider them garbage?
And for anyone else not doing these yet look into them! The kits are CHEAP, and they install FAST.

The Echomaster and Avox are the same units, work very well and look very factory. They look identical to the ones Ford uses on the trucks. They come in black, white and silver or can be painted to match. You can also do a 2 or 4 sensor setup....

Just make sure you follow the directions to the very last letter! Once you drill those holes in the bumper, that's it.

i don't recall the name of the units i used, they quality and instructions and falsing were just crazy. plus the sensors seemed cheap in the hi line cars they wanted me to install them in. Im gonna check out the Avox and echomaster, Maybe those will fitthe bill. How much are you guys charging on labor, i have 2 dealers that are asking me to do them, and i wanna stay fair. I wanna cover myself when im drilling into a benz bumper.
