Hey guys I am looking at this model. Some ebay listings show a picture of a oval or egg shaped remote while the comapany website is showing a squarish shaped remote. Which one is newer and where is a good place other than ebay to get a ultrastart system. thanks as always

Stay away from E-bay....please. Find a dealer on their website....They must have a dealer locator.?

their dealer locator is screwed up. it's not showing anything near me even though i live in new york city so there deff should be something here. anyways you know a good place to order this ultrastart cause i wanna install it myself

yes stay away from ebay, it has 2 different remotes one is 2way the other isnt...

both remotes are 2 way, the square one is the newest. you know the 4266m is a manual transmission remote starter correct? I normally don't stock them, but if I can get one from my rep, I could sell you one. pm me if interested. ------------- My rifle is my friend...

The 4266 is the old model ie oval remotes, avoid ebay purchases like the plague. Do a search fro ultra there online retailers selling them.

for units for DIY'ers, buying it anywhere retail or not will still void warranty.
Eebay is a great market for these type of things. Its the 21th century, the best deals are evolved around eebay.

both remotes are NOT 2 way. i install ultra i know this. ONE is 2 way the other is just a regular fm with long range...

The 4265, is the way to go the old 4266 remote is pretty lame looking. The range on the 4265 is better also.

the 4256 is for automatics i need the manual model which is the 4266m. the old and new models are both called 4266m. One has a oval shaped remote while the newer one is a rectangle. thanx

I see the 4266M is the model for the manual, they use to just classify them as manuals by just adding an M to the part number.  . -------------

I think I am gonna order it from etronics.com. I just sent them an email asking if its the new rectangle transmitter that they have in stock. Their pic is showing the new model so im just making sure.
