Hi. I have been told that there is a way to allow the factory remote to work even once the car is running.(we did a one button remote starter) Has anybody done this or have info? Thanks

Already tried it on a Sienna.

I found one wire at the BCM I could interrupt, and then the keyless did work.......but I also got all kinds of warning lights on the dash, and it also killed the climate controls, so that isn't going to fly.

One-button remote starters are a lousy idea on Japanese cars.

Now i wouldn't say all Jap cars, Nissans still work if they are running....

Does anyone know if the inputs for the sliding doors and trunk with an AFTERMARKET negative pulse will still work after the Sienna is remote started?

The override switch under the dash has to be plugged in and turned on, but the pulses will open and close them all....

Thanks everybody. My customer walked into a shop who told him that they could do it and whoever put in the system was second class. Maybe they were just talking big...maybe not. Mike what did you mean by the overide switch?

Concepts99 was asking about the sliders opening, there's an override switch on the kee bolster that must be plugged in and on for them to work....
