I have this vehicle, with a clifford 50.5x in it and an Idatalink ADS-TB bypass module in it

Everything works fine except for when I remote start it the "KEY" light on the dash stays on (not the flashing security light)

I know this has something to do with the intelligent key system in the car, becasue I don't think it is recognizing that the FOB is there when I get into the car and turn the tumbler to ignition and then hit the brake

if someone could please help that would be great or you can add me on MSN so I could explain better, my email is powerdyne6@hotmail.com

Thnaks in advance Mike

im pretty sure the car is seeing 2 keys. is the ground-out when running or status output from the clifford unit working correctly?

Did you use the standard wiring or the 232 port ? The iDatalink uses the RX & TX to bypass the PATS system and if successful it will program and also start without a problem. Unplug the module and reset the idatalink to relearn the code. Make sure that the GROUND and the STATUS OUTPUT wire in in fact sending a proper ground.

the clifford 50.5x has two status wires, and I know both them are working properly cause I have one going to the clutch for bypass and I have one going to the keysense wire on a relay to disable the factory alarm for the car to be able to remote start

the staus wire I have going to the ads-tb bypass module is tapped into the staus wire that is going to the keysense,

hmm i think I might know the problem, the status wire that I have going to the keysense wire is on a relay, i had to concert the polarity of that staus wire to positive because my keysense wire in the car is positive

COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM???, and if it is could I tapped off of the other staus wire with a diode so I can hook up the bypass module???

I used the standard wiring  cause the there is no r232 port on the clifford

I have two of these intelligent key FOB's, but I did the programming with the keys that come out of them incase the battery in the remote dies

try disconnecting the the keysense wire. the doorlock wires in the DKP will also control disarming and arming of the car. if i remember correctly, the wires were BLACK/ blue and BLACK/ white. since the vehicle will temporarily unlock the doors during remote start, make sure the arm/lock wire is connected so it will lock and arm after start. i did the same car today and i didnt  power up the keysense wire. everything worked well and the key light didnt stay on.

did you actually do a mazdaSPEED6 or a mzada 6, cause thye are a bit different

basically the ground when running wire from the bypass module is seeing a positive signal, what would this do

when I remote start the car the doors don't unlock, all that happens is the factory alarm disarms itself but the doors don't unlock, then rearms after remote start

but the key light on the dash has nothing to do with the factory immobilizer, it is a seperate light on the cluster, it basically just recognizes that the FOB is in the vicinity

the car you did, did it have the "Smart Key Feature"
