my personal car has a viper 791xv w/remote start in it, lately when its cold i havent been able to start the car, ill have to wait till its warmer out and then pull on the fusebox and it starts, after that its usually good for the rest of the day. the car doesnt even crank, its like the starter wire isnt hooked up, so i hooked my starter wire back up outside of the starter kill. no dice, next morning same problem, i went to honda and they said the main relay may be bad, i changed it and thought for sure this would fix it, the relays contacts on the circut side were burnt, this was yesterday, went out to my car and its didnt start again. any advice?

Your starter could be bad, try tapping it while someone is cranking.

how's ur battery? it could be dying...
i had a problem when the car wouldn't crank long enough when cold, i just had to relearn the tach at a higher RPM and then i haven't had a problem since... u could try that too.

when the car actually does start, do you find you have to crank it longer then you would normally need to?

the car wont crank at all when i have this problem, i changed the main relay and hooked the starter kill up outside the starter kill relay.
