My Viper 300+ was installed by a local MobileOne a few years back and just last year my driver side door switch won't lock.  The button can unlock but can't lock...the passenger side works fine.  Also my rear passenger side window refuses to roll down.  If I jump a wire directly to the plug the window rolls down and can roll back up if i reverse wires.  Today I took down my steering column panels to get to the alarm...I noticed my factory doorlock wires were t-tap for the unlock/lock.  i also noticed one of my window wires were t-tap.  I'm not sure what the color is but that t-tap doesn't lead to back to the alarm.  My question is if the wire coming from the left side of the t-tap is not connect but the wire coming from the right side of the tap is connected...will the alarm still be able to lock the door?  I'm guessing I might have a broken connection from the t-tap.

If the connection is broken, then you wil not have any of the doors lock. I suggest replacing all the T-taps with solder connections and see if this helps.

Get rid of all t taps and scotch locks, they often cut the wire in half, and if they don't do that then they will come unpluged, either way they suck!!!
