Hi, i was trying to download the Alpine 8040 wiring Diagram, when i download it it comes up as a HTML not the diagram?  any help would be great.

Looks fine to me.The diagram is a GIF image. Are you saving it first or are you opening it when prompted to save it?

when promt to save it, i save it, then i try to open it. first time in download manager, then second time was in my documents. when i click on it it brings up part of this website about the hurracaine.

Make sure you are left clicking on the link and you save it as a gif. If you right clicked on it, you will be saving the page, not the file. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=277

I left click on your link.,  save it , save as,  now it comes up with file name, download HTML and save as type: Html Documents or All files, Nothing else.

What program do you have associated with GIF files and what browser are you using? You should be prompted to save the file as a GIF file. If you are being prompted to save it as an HTML document, try changing the file extension to .gif or changing your file association locally. **edit** You may also want to clear your cache if you previously attempted to download it by right clicking on the link.
