I installed a 530T module with a Matrix RSX 3.5 alarm system 9 months ago onto a 96 Toyota Corolla. Today the 530T suddenly crapped out after 9 months without any problems. Today I got into the car like normal and tried to roll the windows down with the driver side window switch. Nothing happened. So I started driving home, half way back I decided to try the windows again and they roll down and it worked. When I finally got home I tried to roll the windows back up and it did not work again.

So begin the diagnostis
1) Checked the fuses, not blown
2) Used DMM to check for voltage at the 530T brain (reads 12V unplugged, 6-7V plugged in)
3) Used DMM to check individual grounds - all 3 reads continuality
4) Disconnected Orange DWA wire and roll down signal wire
5) Bypass 530T brain by jumping motors <> switch wires and windows roll up and down with no problems.

I currently removed the module, snip and splice each of the 8 motor <> switch wires directly next to the brain and it windows works like stock. I am about 100% positive it is the 530T module itself giving me the trouble.

Input?

if you had the 530t module mounted into the door itself, it is possible that the unit may have gotten wet. it happened in my buddies camaro. the bad part about it all is that the water ended up completely frying the circuit board; had to get a new one.

nah, I taken some extra time and tucked it under the driver side dash. Cut up my fingers pretty good for 2hrs pushing all 8 wires through the driver side door loom. That's the part I'm most wized off about. I haven't open up the module to look at the circuit board but might do it this weekend.
