Hey Guys. If this topic has been answered, i could not find it.
I am installing a remote start, Valet 561R, in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
It is not a Grand Cherokee. Just a Cherokee.

DO I need the interface for the power locks? I know the Grand Cherokee needs the 455T.
Please let me know. Thanks guys for all your help in advance.

here's what i have:

Power Lock ORANGE / purple - drivers kick panel
Notes: Must use relays to trigger the lock and unlock wires. Close all doors when testing.
Power Unlock pink/purple - drivers kick panel
Notes: Must use relays to trigger the lock and unlock wires. Close all doors when testing.

I agree: Negative trigger, use relays.

LOCK	ORANGE / purple	In driver's kickpanel	-
UNLOCK	Pink/purple	In driver's kickpanel	-
