Does someone have accurate wiring info for a 2007 Subaru Outback? I'm installing an Audiovox Prestige APS-57 remote start. Thanks! ------------- Good Enough Isn't!

06, and 07, are the same.... PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT | YES | TRANSPONDER | SEE NOTES | 12 VOLTS | White | Ignition switch harness | + | IGNITION | Green | Ignition switch harness | + | IGNITION 2 | Blue | Ignition switch harness | + | ACCESSORY | Yellow | Ignition switch harness | + | STARTER | WHITE/ black | Ignition switch harness | + | KEY SENSE | BLACK/ white | Ignition switch harness | + | TACH SIGNAL | Use an injector | | | | | On the V6 engine you can find a LT.GREEN/ VIOLET at the module on the left side of the steering column in the GRAY connector. |
| FUEL INJECTOR | Orange or GREEN/ orange | at connector on driver's side of engine | AC | LOCK | BROWN / white | On white plug in DKP or at BCM | - | | | The BCM (body control module) is located at the base of the steering column. |
| UNLOCK | BROWN / black | On white plug in DKP or at BCM | - | | | The BCM (body control module) is located at the base of the steering column. |
| DOORPIN | SEE NOTES | | | | | Blue/white (left front), Yellow (left rear), Blue/orange (right front) & WHITE/ red (right rear). All 4 wires can be found on the BCM at the base of the steering column. |
| TRUNK PIN | Lt.GREEN/ black | At switch in hatch | - | TRUNK RELEASE | WHITE/ black | At BCM at base of steering column | REV POL | | | You must open the wire with a relay and shoot 12V to the motor side of the trunk solenoid, see the trunk diagram. Applying 12V to this wire directly can damage the BCM. |
| FACTORY ARM | Blue/white | On white plug in DKP or at BCM | - | | | This is the driver's doorpin wire. Ground this wire at the same time as the lock wire to arm factory security. The BCM (body control module) is located at the base of the steering column. |
| FACTORY DISARM | Yellow/red | On white plug in DKP or at BCM | - | | | The BCM (body control module) is located at the base of the steering column. |
| BRAKESWITCH | BROWN / white | At switch above brake pedal | + | PARKLIGHTS | Violet | At dimmer switch harness | + | HAND BRAKE | Gray | At DRL module in driver's kickpanel | - | HORN | RED / white | White plug at steering column | - | CLUTCH SWITCH | Blue/white & WHITE/ blue | At top switch on clutch pedal | TYPE 3 | DIMMER | BLACK/ white | At dimmer switch harness | + | VSS WIRE | GREEN/ black | Behind instrument cluster | AC |

Thanks, KarTuneMan. I didn't know it was the same as the '06. I was wondering why DEI hadn't posted the wiring for '06. I haven't done the car yet, but I will tackle it in a few days.

Advanced,
Go to www.techservices.audiovox.com and sign up.
Not that KarTuneMan gives bad info but I have found that techservices is quick with the new models.

DEI is very slow at posting new vehicles, they claim it is to verify the information prior to posting.
Audiovox is always fast at posting, and they offer their information completely free. It has been my experience however they are wrong quite often with their info. Any information you get should always be verified with a DMM prior to connecting any wires!

I go to Audiovox tech site alot & unfortunately quite often I find inaccuracies with the wiring info. For example, if you look up 2007 Subaru Outback, the colors are very different from info posted above. Try it & you'll see for yourself. I just can't trust their info.

I can see what you mean; this info is not correct.
I never trust anyone's info 100%.
