Hi, Recently purchased the Astra 777 alarm system and spent the day wiring it in, alls well it seems so far except for the remote LCD pager, the other remote key fob button remote works fine, alarm activates, doors lock, ect. but when using the LCD it does nothing but beep when pushing the buttons, tried the reprogramming according to the manual, new battery, but still nothing, noticed it does show a little hand finger pointing in the upper left corner of the LCD screen but no mention of the icon in the manual that I could find.
Any help would be much appreciated in what I,m doing wrong or overlooking.

Still trying to figure this remote thing, but also noticed and after checking scyteks website to no avail that the transmitter programming sequence is not what the book shows.
Book says to press #5 until "CON" shows release and it will show system status, nothing. press and hold and it suppossed to run through the options, according to the manual #2 is CHP, mine has DEG or possibly DEC where #2 should be, then #3 is CHP and so on, all options are one off from the manual because of the #2 setting that isn't shown in the book anywhere but is definately on my remote. The remote does nothing other than beep as the buttons are pushed, no on/off confirmations, no melody after pressing #5 to set ect. in short its doing none of the things the manual says it should.
Its the 777 model with the carbon fiber looking remote LCD, HELP!!!!
