Just remembered, trunk release is a low current neg, use RED / white from alarm to factory switch output, indicators are blue & blue/red either at column switch or loom in driver kickwell, do NOT use factory bonnet (hood) switch.

Thanks. I have already fitted with a new bonnet switch. I got my indicators working by check the loom in the boot. I'll connect the wires for the locking and boot on the alarm on sunday when my mate brings it round. Also got to fit a speed pulde convertor to it as they don't come with one for a sat nav system. Should be fun. Cheers for your help folks VERY much apreciated.

Should have a GREEN / WHITE wire on plug to factory radio, if not 3 wire plug from gearbox, one is 12v with ignition, one is ground, third is analogue speed pulse.

Only on the early models this is a 2001 system so it's not analogue. The wire behind the stereo is not there because ford in their wisdom decided that no one would want sat nav in the pumas. The three wires on the gear box i have tried any way but were no help because it uses somthing called the se system which was used just before it was switched to can bus apparently. You can check if a puma has this by checking if the diagnostic socket (located in passenger side by the fuel pump reset) has pins in number 2 and 10. According to a very helpful sat nav installing firm locally to me.
