Well, to be honest, that all depends on what's important to you. Are there particular features you are looking for? What price range are you in? The best advice I can offer would be to pick something that has the features you want, a good warranty, and comes with the support you'll need if you have any troubles. Oh, and remember, usually you get what you pay for. For example, my company sells a new system called the Omega MAX. It is a very high quality product with tons of features. It also gets up to 1500 ft. of range (legally). Unfortunately, we are not listing it on our site yet because it was just released from Omega (Excalibur, K-9, Freedom, Crime Guard, etc.) but we should have something soon. I'm sorry I can't offer any opinion on the Aladdin products because I am not familiar with them. Hope this helps.

I have heard good things about the Avital 3300 or the Clifford RS3.  Most alarms have a good lifetime warranty.  Check Best Buy

Astrostart is a top notch unit and is pretty much all I sell and install.  Most have never used it but it is bullet proof.  Not to mention 1/2 mile (2600 feet) of range!  Nice remote and 0% failure rate.  It is made in canada though so lots of people in the US likely don't have access to it.  It is made by astroflex.  here is there website https://www.astroflex.com

Player69, what models get 2600 feet?  The website only advertises 2000 feet.  That is all the people around here have heard of and I know they are reliable, but they are awefully expensive.  If I could just get my hands on some for agood price I could keep really busy.  I may be able to get them, but not cheap enough to sell any lower then the bigger dealers of them around here.  I think the 2106 starts at $265 installed.

The model 2106xr last year claimed 2600ft.  This year they claim 2000 but they still get in excess of 2600 ft clear line of sight.  I have one on my 2002 GMC truck and when i tested it I was at 3100ft before it wouldn't work every time i pushed the button.  I think they put 2000ft on it to cover their ass.

I don't find astro starts to be that expensive.  They definately save me money in the long run.  I sell the 2600xr for $279 canadian installed.   Email me at player69dss@hotmail.com if you want prices.  I don't wholesale but I can if you wish.   Where are you in North Dakota?  I am in Manitoba and am less then 3 hours from Grand Forks.

yes astrostart is a little more expensive but like player 69 says they are bulletproof. if you are in range ( and yes they have been known to go over 3000 feet) your car is going to start.  Out of any of the brands I sell these babies have the very least faliure rate.  I am an authorized dealer with an awesome wholsale connection if you are looking to sell these contact me and I will see what I can do about  wholsale pricing ASTROSTART RULES
