Well got my first 07 coming in a dodge charger. I will be using bypasskits XK532 for bypass and doorlocks and such. Just wondering if anyone has done any of these with the start/ignition wire system and anything to lookout for.
Thanks,
Denny

Ugh, two words, they suck. The igntion wires suck, the factory alarm disarm sucks, they just suck....

I have had the "sucky glory" of doing the last 6 of these in my shop.  All I can say is about the program key part.  All of the ones I have done, I have gotten an exra key from Howard Keys, used the 556UW from DEI, and when the vehicle went into programming for the key, it would throw and service engine (something !@#$ed up!) light, in which I had to "reset" with a scanner.  Mike M2 is exactly right............ THEY SUCK, I still can not get them done in under 2 hours.  I only hope you have a good bypass, because I ran out of interfaces, and spent 20 minutes just wiring relays.  Good Luck!

Well has anyone tried the bypasskit XK532? How is it for programming?

whats with all the complaints?  I did one of these the other day, I used the bypass kit for it as well with an autopage, i was skeptical about this part not being DEI but no, no problems, the directions are a little misleading like the WHITE/ orange wire off the skim module...but i liked the part, its preprogrammed for the locks, trunk release and starter/acc wire.  Just a few things, dont be bashful about taking out the instument cluster, all the door triggers are there for ya, front doors in the right plug and rears on the left plug...what else, be careful before removing the brake release, i spent 10 minutes to just not break the tabs.  One thing i really liked, is this vehicle has Lots of space by the knee guard to mount the brain and bypass.   That's all i can think of

are you doing a alarm and remote start or just remote start? I do these things all day with the ultrastart one button starter, 1000 ft range with the bypasskit pku-ch2x and the only issues i have is getting bypass to program first time, but it's the car that's tempermental. the programming is the same process, but the vehicle accepting the new transponder is a little different. instead of on the older ones you wait 10 sec and the theft light goes solid, the light will immediately go solid and then go out. Easy money if you ask me...
