I have an Aiwa radio that doesn't have the install sleeve. Good radio. I need to install it in a 93 Ford Explorer. How can I go about this? Aren't the Metra kits made for the sleeve?

you could iso mount the radio if the kit supports that..  All the metra kits I have used for ford didnt have iso, but maybe they have one.  If not, u can use any cage from and old radio and make it work

I don't believe Metra makes an Iso kit for a 93 Explorer. Like T said, use any old cage and duct tape it to the radio....

Thanks for the tips. I didn't see anything in the Metra kit that helped with the iso mounting. I will call Crutchfield for assist.
Thanks much.
