Have anyone officially installed a remote start on a 07 Tahoe. I've read the forums but the information is conflicting. My biggest concern is what need to be done for the starter wire, where is it, what color, how to connect the rs to it? I've seen two diagram, one saying it is 12V through a 13K resistor (White (+) which is not at my ignition harness), and another cutting the pink/black wire at the ignition keysense and adding a relay and a 9.6K through the rs starter and a 6.3K resistor through the 2nd ignition wire from the rs (Directfax 1605) and I seen some info saying there is no starter wire. If 1605 is correct can this be done with a 9.53K resistor and a 6.34K resistor, because I can't find a 9.6k locally or a resistor exactly 6.3k?

Resistors generally have a 10% tolerance. In this case, your close is close enough.....

This vehicule doe's not have starter wire. The engine will crank on it's own when power is removed from brown wire (accessory), when PK3 + transponder and passlock value are valid. Use Data module to bypass both at the same time. www.bypasskit.com  XK06 PKG9

I currently have the DEI 556U for the transponder bypass and the CAN-SL2 for the Can databus interface (https://bypasskits.fortinautoradio.com/vehicles/2007/chevrolet/tahoe/). My question would be if I get the XK06 it seem to be both of what I have in one module, but what would I do with the wire from the rs (ign, acc, ign2 wire)? Also how would I use the other functions like door locks and door triggers with the XK06, is there more wires than the 10 pin harness being shown at https://www.bypasskit.com/Manuals/XK06_PKG9%20D10_I_EN.PDF

I did an 07 Yukon last month. I used an xk01 -gmdl6 for the doorlocks + security and an xk06-pkg9 for the transponder. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Just a note - If using an xk01 use the latest version. H3 I believe. If you don't, the bcm goes to sleep and the doorlocks will stop working after 10min.
