I am installing an aftermarket alarm/remote start and I am undable to locate the "horn" wire coming from the top of the steering column.  I have removed everything from the column to make sure I didnt overlook it.  It appears that I do not have  a "BLACK / YELLOW" wire.  I do have a solid "Black" wire though.  Any thoughts on this?  I have isolated the horn down to one specific harness, but I am  not exactly sure how to test for the horn.  Thanks for yoru help.

Thanks for that info mikvot.  I do have one more quick question regarding this install.  The question is in regards to theTach wire.  I connected it to the white wire that is in the plug that plugs into the Instrument Cluster that is in the dash.  Is this correct?

Yeah,i think there is only one white wire so it should be correct. No way to know for sure without testing the wire with a dmm. Also, make sure you power up the white second igntion of the vehicle with your remote start.

Well, It looks like so far I have everything correctly connected.  I do have one last question regarding the wiring.  It does concern the remote start.  I purchased a Bulldog Security T-Harness that is vehicle specific and has the following wires coming from it:

< face=Arial color=#000000 >(2) red wires are 12 volts constant.
white is ignition 1
WHITE/ red is ignition 2
WHITE/ black is acc.
yellow/black is starter

On the alarm system, it says the following for the yellow wire: < face=TT55CO00>

YELLOW < face=TT565O00>: +12V Ignition Input. The Yellow wire must connect to a main ignition wire at the ignition harness. This wire must show +12V when the ignition is on and while cranking the starter. The voltage must not drop when the car is starting

< face=TT565O00>So I should connect this yellow wire to teh Ignition 1 wire, correct?  Or should it be the Yellow/black wire??  I am a little confused on this one.  Thanks for your assistance once again.  I am pretty sure it connects to the yellow/black wire now that I think of it....

From the info you have given, the Yellow +12V Ignition Input Wire should connect to the White Ignition 1 Wire.

You connect that yellow wire from the alarm system brain to either ignition 1 or ignition 2 (so, the white wire or WHITE/ red wire coming from the t harness)  This yellow wire lets the alarm know the car is started so the alarm won't set on you while driving.
