Ok, brand new compass, directechs has no info on it, so i used the caliber info, my only problem is that there are a few differences. Im installing a 1wam-as compustar. First off no need for relays or an accessory wire, no here's my problem. I cant for the life of me find the door trigger wires, has anyone done an aftermarket alarm in one of these before?

any help appreciated, thanks

Jack

LF - PURPLE / BLUE
RF - PURPLE / WHITE
LR - PURPLE / GRAY
RR - PURPLE / YELLOW

All 4 wires are found at the large BLACK junction connector above the driver's kick panel. (-) trigger and diode isolate each wire. My information also says it requires the (-) starter and acc relays to be used because of the MUX system on all new Jep/Chrysler/Dodge vehicles.

I thought they were needed as well, if the neg starter wire is just hooked up with the proper relay, acc turns on and everything works. If there was a problem the check engine light would trip correct?

thanks for the colors, i had a bear of a time trying to figure out where they were.

If there is a problem with the MUX starter/Acc then the vehicle will not crank. Also, make sure that the Sentry is bypassed properly as well otherwise you will not know if it's the MUX or the Sentry that is not allowing the vehicle to start.
