Hello,

I am the proud owner of a BMW E34 520i from 1992,
But it's hard to find the right wires like tacho-signal (For remote start)
engine start,ign.#1,ign#2,doorlock,unlock wires.
In the Vehicle Database in here only is the 525,535 from 1992 but theres a lot of different colors used between them posted_image
Does anyone know the wire color&locations ? I have tried a online wiring-plan but thats only for newer models.

Any experience ?

Notes:
*1 Do not operate locks by remote with door open or deadbolted to prevent possible damage to servos.  *2 Round plug with screw-on cover at pass. shock tower or by fusebox on driver's side.  *3 Anti-theft plug or module located under rear seat on passenger side. Door wires also found at general module under rear seat on driver's side. Be careful handling this module, as rotating it can cause underseat grommets to suck out, allowing eventual water damage to the electrical system. Domelight supervision wire BROWN / red at anti-theft plug.

Thanks a lot for your info,

* Where can i find that "anti-theft plug",i found the anti-theft device (a small black box with a red LED) itself
but it only has a ver very small green plug-thing with only 3 or 4 tiny wires on it leading to an orange-RELAY.?

 

* Whats difference between DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK & DOOR_TRIGGER ?

* How can i activate "double-lock/arm factory alarm" which wire ? or both wires at same time ?

* You sure its for a 520i from 1992 ?

info provided is for all 92 bmw 5 series models.......

anti theft plug is located *3 Anti-theft plug or module located under rear seat on passenger side

door lock and unlock are the wires that will lock and unlock the doors, door trigger wires read when the doors are open (for installing an alarm)
