this topic seems to come up quite regularily here. just search "actuators" and you should be able to get you awnsers quick.

yeah i have been looking through all of these forums for hours and still cant find the answers i am looking for.. i am trying to find out how on a Viper 5000 or Viper 3000 alarm system which wires coming off the door lock harness go to the actuator wires to lock/unlock my doors, and if i need to a relay pack or something of that nature

you need two relays...
86 and 87 on both relays need 12v
87a on both need ground
85 - lock or unlock from alarm
30 green or blue from actuator
this is assuming the alarm doesn't have onboard relays.

the alarm has onboard relays and the door lock harness from the alarm has a few wires, for different combinations as needed, i need to kno which wires from the harness go to my actuators

WHITE/ black BROWN / black need ground......violet/black and violet need 12v......blue/black and GREEN/ black out to actuator

also, if you hook the blue/black and GREEN/ black up wrong, it just reverses the door locks. locks when it should unlock, just reverse the wires to correct it.

In case the alarm does not have relays I think this might help: https://www.ambientweather.com/dbcs6600dlm.html

But b18civic4lyf sorry if I change the topic here but I'm waiting on some actuators myself any advice on installing them, I have the same car. Thanks.

the only advise i can really give you on them is be patient, the civic's door panel/ locking mechanism locations make it a bitch, just dont be afraid to be creative, your going to have to bend the actuator arm some and trial and error it until it works properly, but then again i bought some cheap stuff off ebay but they seem to be doing quiet well just wish they were a little quieter
