the remote start is hooked up but the engine will not turn over.  the engine will crank  than dies and than it tries to crank again( a total of 3 tries) I'm using the 556uw bypass and the valet key.  Instead of the tach wire it is hooked up to voltage senseing.  Have searched but no luck in what i'm lookin g for.

The car is a 2007 murano with intel key

the remote starter is the python 1400xp

try leaving a key in the ignition barrel and attempt to remote start, if the car start with a key in the ingition your bypass is bunk or hooked up wrong.

the car will start with a regular key that does not have the chip.  This is how my remote start works...If i leave a regular non chip key in the ignition it will start.  There is also a valet key in the bypass immobilizer as well.  Once I take the key out and try to start the engine will crank but it won't turn over.

Do you have keysense hooked up?

some vehicles have a small pin at the back of the key barrel (keysense wire) when the key is inserted it sends the key sense signal and starts, im not sure but your murano might have this, try hooking up keysense and see what happens... if it RS with key in barrel and its non chipped key its most likely keysense wire.

KEYSENSE BLACK/ red (required)+ ignition harness or bcm, pin 372nd keysense which is actvated by pressing the "START" button on dash. It is a GREEN/ Orange (+) in a 6-pin gray connector to the right of the steering column. This same gray connector has primary BLACK/ Red keysense wire also.

this is for an 05' but i bet its almost the same.
