this is for anyone installing 1100f bipass on any ford vehicle with connector type 3b.the ignition wire is PIN#1 not PIN#2 like the directions say.pin#2 is the ground.the other wires are correct.hope i can save someone the frustration i went through.

The ground and ignition wire can be switched in the transponder connector on a lot of Ford's. That's why you are supposed to meter them.

so your saying i could switch the ground and ignition wire on the connector and the factory immobilizer would still function properly

Every time I've installed an 1100F I just tap the ignition connection into the remote start's ignition 1 output, and connect the ground wire to chassis ground. You don't have to use the ignition and ground wires at the plug; just RX and TX.
