Hi I am installing a u4366m into a 06 rsx. I am unfamilliar with ultrastart systems. There is a white 3 wire harness which contains a WHITE/ violet, black and then a red wire as well totalling 3. I know the white violet is to activate a transponder bypass but the other two are confusing as the install manual just lists the black wire as a " - 250 ma ground output" and the red as a "250 ma + output" with no mention as to when these wires are active. Do they come on during starting or are they on the whole time? Can someone with ultrastart experience fill me in. thank you

put a meter on them and see what they do- probably ground when running (status output) + and -   could use for rear defrost

the red is constant 12v, the black is a ground, the white violet is ground out when running.

the while/violet is ground when running and the 12v red wire is there to power ur bypass and use with the gwr wire. the ground can be used for a relay in other apps...

Ok so the black ground wire stays on during the actual cranking till you put your foot on the brake and let the regular ignition of the car take over?

Because if he black wire provides a ground during the cranking of the engine I will be using it for the negative clutch bypass. Can someone tell me if its on during the cranking

it is a ground all the time, not during crank only or run only.

Oh ok then it doesn't help me at all really. And plus as I am sure you know with this alarm you have to choose between a second starter, second ignition or second accessory you cannot have all three as there is one wire that you set with a jumper that is for these three. This rsx has a second accessory wire which needs to be connected so i must use this wire for that purpose. I was going to convert it from positive to negative with a relay and use it for the clutch bypass but now I can't so I guess I am just left with using the status out to both activate the transponder bypass and bypass the clutch as well. I am a little concerned about overloading the alarm brain. Do you guys have any alternative suggestions for me or sould I just stick with this

Should be fine triggering 2 things with the status output, although remember the orange wire off the brain is also a ground out when running.

Thanx for the heads up. I didn't even realize that the orange was programable to be either a starter kill or that and since I am not wiring up a starter kill relay cause I had one go bad before I might just use this wire for the clutch cause I still would still want to avoid using that wire for 2 things.thanx again
