Need some advice. Customer is complaining that their vehicle is shifting incorrectly and the drive indicator on the dashboard cluster is not illuminating. I checked all the fuses inside and outside without any evidence of a problem and reset the computer. Any other ideas on what could cause this. R/S system installed on Saturday. 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander 4Dr.

Make sure both accy's are powered up and the IGN is powered IGN blu/black ACCY 1 blue/red ACCY 2 blue/yell. Its a pretty easy install. Could be a timeing isse.. accy's up before ign or vise sersa. Also check the parking lite connection + GREEN / WHITE by fuse box...

Thanks... I will go back over everthing you suggested. Hopefully it is just a connection issue. It is also doing this when started with the key.
