Customer doesn't mind losing a key -- is this bypass acceptable?  It's the standard ribbon around the key-head .. and ring around the key barrel...

I was gunna tap into the lock/unlock common wire in the Cherokee with a ground signal via 300 and 100 ohm resistors -- can I do this?  then I don't have to implement the databus bypass for the doorlocks?

The r/s has a (-) signal for lock and unlock -- can i just use resistors?

thanks for the reply
