asianwolf window module

I recently bought a window module for my car from asianwolf. I installed it and everything is working great. what i am not too sure about is this..

I connected the Acc wire from the asianwolf module to the acc wire from my car and i nearly blew out the asianwolf module. it started to smell burnt.. i quickly disconnected it and came to realize that it works great without it..

So what is the purpose of that Acc wire on the asianwolf module and is there a need to even connect it?

I know that the asianwolf module is one of the cheaper but please help me at least for the knowledge...

I have one as well and never hooked it up yet.  I think that wire might go to the alarm system ie remote start or when you have an auxilary spot on your alarm. Some systems have a single aux button and this will control the module
