I'm in the process of installing a DIY remote starter in my truck.  The only problem is, the color code that the manual had didn't exactly work for my year.  Does anyone know the exact colors for a 2001 Dakota and also have installed one before?  Thank you for you help!

What is the make and model of the starter?

Search function gives the chart.

You should always verify every connection prior to hooking anything up. The wiring charts are good cheat sheets but not always 100% accurate.

Yes, I have and I am sure a ton of others have installed one in this model truck.

The ignition wire colors vary on chryslers, as suggested varify with a meter prior to connection.
