I am installing a alarm and the instructions say I need to connect one of the alarm wires to my Ignition 2 wire on my car. I've seen many Hyundai Elantra wiring diagrams and none of them show anything for Ignition 2. There are no spare wires going to my ignition that it could be, all of them I have identified. What would I use instead?

You dont always have to hook up an ignition 2, the alarm companies  just give you that wire as an option, for the cars that do have two ignition wires. On your car, you do not need it.

Thanks! I was just concerned because in the Installation manual (Prestige Platinum APS 786t) it doesn't give you a choice. Now on the Battery 1 and Battery 2 it says you can just install them on the same constant 12 volt source if you don't have a second constant. would it be good to install it on the ignition 1 wire or just leave it off?

If you need two inputs 12v for you R/S and the car has to "battery" wires .....spread it out. Why load one constant, when you have 2.
