Problem finding ECU or should I say the connector for bypass. Using DEI 1100X and I'm looking for connector for over an hour with no luck (above and behind glove box). Any one have any experience?
Thanx,

OK,
So I am mistaken? I was under the impression that I had to find a 14 pin plug that was part of the Theft ECU. Is it only the security light connector that I need behind glove box? Although I searched high and low and all the ECU connectors are 28pin (7across and 4 deep). What am I missing? I will search at ignition for wires but they are talking IMI and IMO? I'm confused. I used a 1100F last week no problems, instructions were much clearer.......
Thanx in advance,
Charlie

i know these instructions are for a different brand unit, but it's much better then the directeds. use it as a cross reference. It lists different pin numbers for IMO/IMI but same color wires(BROWN / white, etc) I've installed this module alot and the directions are dead on.

Do yourself a favor now if you plan on tapping into the Sienna's parking light system for ANY reason. Do NOT use the (+)Parking Light wire. Use the (-)PL Wire. It's GREEN/ black(one of either two or three) and located in the steering column. There were major issues with Sienna's for any installer that didn't use the negative side. Myself, I wasn't one of them.
Update
Gave up on DEI 1100X and universal bypass. Instructions from DEI poor and it would not learn code. Incorrect connectors for Toyota Sienna described by DEI after 3 hours to revert back to 556UW. We live and we learn..... Thanx to those who tried to help and I used the - wire for parking lights.

not major issues.. it just blows the fuse for the parking lights because the positive wire is reverse polarity. but yah, use the neg at the ignition. :)
