Ok! I have the wiring diagram for my 2002 Monte Carlo. I am installing a remote start. I am looking for the Factory Alarm Disarm wire. I am told that it is located at the BCM (16 pin) just above the brake pedal, 3 plugs facing the fire wall, a light green wire. The wire that I am looking at, is I guess light green. It's light enough to look yellowish. I have two plugs facing the firewall. I am told how to test it, by probing. I am told to place the red clip on the light green wire, and probe a constant 12v source. It is to light up when I turn the key, but it did not. I have no idea what to do. I read on one form that it is in the boot of the driver side door. Before I take all of that apart can someone give me a heads up on how to find the factory alarm disarm wire. Please Please Help me. I feel like I will never get this project done. I called the Chevy repair shop near me and they couldnt tell me.

Pin B3 in the connector labeled GREY. BCM under drivers side dash ABOVE the kick.

Since my last post, everything works. Thank You very much. Now I have two that I am trying to figure out. I have a 2002 Monte Carlo. I didn't have to hook up my Factory Alarm Disarm wire by the way. I am working on the park light flash. I probe the only park light wire that lite up my probe, located on the pink plug. I cut back some of the sleeve and connected my wire. When I use my remote start, the lights does not flash with the remote start. Also, I cant remember what I need to do to keep my car from saying "Service Engine Soon". I'm am new to working on the electrical in my car. I think i was told to create/make a relay. But how do I create one? What does that mean? I learning, keep this in mind.

Also, when starting my car with the remote start, my doors continue to unlock, never lock. I am using the ORANGE / black wire. I have both my blue and green wires connecting to the wire at different location for example:
ORANGE / Black wire -------------------------<B>------------------------------------<G>------------------- Blue wire Green Wire

I even tried to cut the ORANGE / black wire between the blue and green wire( posted_image bad mistake, now I cant unlock/lock from my door panel, I'll connect it later.) The doors are also suppose to lock in three seconds, it does not lock at all. I can't figure out what is going on. Please help me.
