I recently have done a Es300 2003 install that has been doing some wierd things (this is remote start only the gut didn't want the keyless entry done . anyway whats happening is that the factory alarm is being trip sometimes but I cant figure why . since I didn't use the fctory locking which shoild arm and disarm OEm security I use the keysense wire bLue thinking it would prevent this but as per customer its still going off, what else can I do? I'm using my ground before start wire on a audiovox prestige remote start keyless entry which sends a 1.5 second pulse before start do you think I need to provide a constant ground on keysense during the entire remote start process or what
Greg
That vehicle is supposed to disarm w/ unlock...the keysense can be used for disarm no unlock..so sounds like you are on track. Check all your connections carefully to make sure the keysense is getting signal from the rs unit..also make sure 100% that you are on the keysense wire..many times there are wires there that are the same color but not the same function..make sure the wire goes right to the key cylinder.
If none of that works pull the door panel and use a DMM to probe for the security wire that sends a signal when you unlock the door with the key...most likely it will throw out a negative. Use the unlock output wire of the RS unit to send a ground to this wire. That should do the trick.

i dont send a pulse to the keysense i always send a GWR... and have never had any issues.....

Definitely ground-when-running (light blue IGN3 from your Audiovox), NOT pulse-before-start.
You want to duplicate the way the car works from the factory. Which is to "show" the car a key in the ignition switch.
If you're already using your light blue to trigger your transponder bypass box, you'll need to split the light blue with two diodes------one going to keysense, the other to the transponder.
Thanks guys I 'm gonna do the ground while running on the blue wire for now to see how it does. I'll get back with you guys to let you know what happen I was sure that I tried this ,but maybe not. "I'll see"
Thanks
