How can i get the lights on my viper 5900 alarm to stay solid when automatic starting the car. When it was installed the installer set it to flash. I want the lights to stay solid. Is it possible to do this with the remotes or do i have to take it back to the installer?

The installer just left it at it's default setting, for some reason DEI starters flash by default. I personally can not stand the flashing lights. To turn them off on the 5900:

Key to run position then off
Hold the valet/programming button till the siren chirps 3X
release the program button
press the program button 5X holding it in on the 5th press
the siren will chirp 4X to confirm you are on the correct setting
press unlock on your remote

The flashing setting is for connecting them to your hazard warning lights. It looks stupid if you use this setting when you connect them to your headlights.

I have automatic lights and at night. It causes the headlights to flash on and off. It looks like im turning the headlights on and off. It looks really stupid in the parking lot with your headlights flashing on and off.
